@ribchinski tbh I recently bought fairly cheap, sealed Mac Mini with 8 GB RAM (just gotta replace hard drive with SSD, because 5400 RPM is killing this machine) for building apps for iOS and overall for Mac exclusive apps.

I really do like it I must say, but my main machine is still my PC with Ubuntu Budgie and I have on my Dell laptop also Ubuntu Budgie. The only place where is Windows installed is actually the one PC with Budgie, but as dual boot. Although I mostly use VM with Windows if I need something Windows related. When I wanna play games, I use Ubuntu, or just go to my Xbox.

@athlon damn I've never heard of Budgie I just checked it out, look sick

@mjones44 it is really good. Budgie Desktop is based off of Gnome, but it feels to me snappier, looks better and overall is nicer to use. All themes, icon packs, etc are compatible with Gnome, same goes for modding and scripting.

@mjones44 it's Ubuntu with crappy efforts to make UI a bit better.

@mjones44 now you got a point there. One of my only reminding uses for in-terminal editors is for editing my .zshrc file. Good point

Most quick stuff can be so easily done with nano... I use it a lot. Plus nano is my git commit message editor. 😊

I like Nano, thx. Better than nothing in a pinch and doesn't require learning a new fucking language to use.
