So about a month ago I started this project for myself and decided I would work on it almost everyday, even if it was just for 30 minutes!

But when I get home I'm always so tired all I can do is sit, almost brain dead and watch something (youtube, netflix, whatever).

Anyway, haven't touched it since that first week.

It’s sheer willpower. I have a project I’m working on with some friends and yeah I get home from work and I’m super tired but the thought of this project actually becoming something real keeps me going.

@Puddinglord need some of that willpower. Where can I buy some?

Same here. Every evening I'm to tired to get anything done in my side projects. Even on weekend I just want to relax or do something with my family.

Well it reflects your passion towards that project. I'm not jumping to conclusions but maybe you aren't that determined or passionate about the project yet. Maybe trying to envision what it'll become or how big it is going to be if you do it will help you with that will !
    Cheers

@irene idk yet, if I could I would want to use for a future startup (is like a online store, I've always wanted to do something like that, just never know what to sell), but idk if I will go through with it

@enigmaVada maybe you're right... It's also still very generic, I should do something about that first 😂

Funny.... I just posted about just the opposite I think.

TLDR: sleep earlier, wake up earlier and do it in the morning

@billgates I really prefer to do it arroud 9/10pm, I feel like I do things faster at night. If I could I would just work at night tbh, hate the mornings! Can never get anything done.

I have the same problem. Too busy with work and other obligations after work, and when I come home and eat, I can just rest and nothing else. Sometimes I do like 30 min, but that's almost nothing. On weekends I have other things to do, but I manage to squeeze in an hour or so.
