A friend of mine was playing Destiny 2 just now and the game crashed. This was legit the error message :

Destiny 2 has a lot of error codes like this (turtle, chicken, weasel, etc).

I think the idea is not that bad. Problems (disconnect or packet loss for example) are grouped to certain error codes and it's easier to search for 'error weasel' instead of something like 'errror 0x0005fbb6'.

I honestly thought it was a forgotten troll a dev pushed by accident and they decided to keep it as it.

Reminds me of that CookieMonster named class I found the other day at work with a BbqSauceIngredient constant.
Sent a screenshot of it to a coworker and he showed up next morning with bbq sauce cookies he baked when he got home.
I have the best coworkers.

Error Names are easier to discuss in development. Like imagine they've done a new feature and the guy tells his boss:

"It wont work, always the turtle bug"

instead of

"It wont work, always returns a 0x0334a1"
