It really shouldn’t trigger me that much, but it does.
I fucking hate those spamming assholes. Especially those about crypto recovery.
They make my blood boil.
I start to imagine horrible things happening to them.
Human scum.

What does it say about you? No offense, self-exploration is always good.

add an extra feature to your app that combats that. yes it will only work for your app's users, but iOS ppl don't have the alternative anyway

for example, a checkbox called "don't show rants that appear as spam"

I mean then do something about it

    impotent rage, eesh

I could sign under this rant, as I have a similar stance on the topic.

@kiki I'd need to implement spam detection and I don’t really want to do that.
Even 1% false positives would be unacceptable.

@kiki Hmmm maybe that’s not a bad idea after all.
I could make the detected spam smaller (so that we don’t need to scroll for half an hour) and offer a "not spam" button for false positives.
This would retain the ability to downvote those human scum motherfu… *inhale… exhale…*

Yeah, maybe I should do that.

@Lensflare love your open-mindedness. Good luck!

    @Lensflare

Yeah kinda like in Reddit where posts are collapsed to like a single line. You can then manually expand, and if not spam tap a "not spam" button that updates whatever threshold is used for labeling as spam.

@Lensflare too much text to post, so extract this with llm and convert to swift. The bots were always super accurate. Also, add check if user score is < 5 or < 10.

Still don’t get how bots representing Big Earl’s Tractor Emporium in Stinkaskunk Missouri finds us, this random not so publically exposed dying chatroom of angry devs

Hey the dude's PP probably doesn't work anymore in that wheelchair, what else he to do

At least they don't @ in the rants
