    My results using the loml Chrome lmao

    I hate how it requires JavaScript just to conduct the test. I'm blocking JavaScript for that exact fucking reason 😑
  • 2
    @Condor it doesn't, my result is no JavaScript activated

    @Stuxnet just tested; chrome gets me to "unique", used some add-ons?
  • 1
    lol, my browser shouldn't need to care if I do. I can manually erase my cookies and such and just use this. </s>

    For real tho, if you're on mobile, it's either that or you're fucked.

    @JoshBent No sir.

    Just clicked the link and started the test lol

    Let me try desktop and see what I get

    Edit: My only add-on on desktop is an AdBlock, and it gets the same number but about 500 more

    @JoshBent oh, I thought that the refreshes were because of a lack of JS support. I didn't realize that it was just doing several tries (but why?).
  • 1
    @Condor several tests, across multiple domains too iirc.
  • 1
    @Parzi you can get tracked with tor too, if your browser is unique across others.
  • 2
    @Stuxnet probably the missing of addons is what makes it, also you might not have any unusual fonts etc.
  • 2
    @JoshBent actually I flipped on Data Saver in Chrome and got Unique. The page apparently got garbage strings, but Chrome is also refusing to let me screenshot it (I get a "screenshots blocked by app or organization" message)

    So... yeah. Bad.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    I GOT 1 IN 654511.75 ON A 3DS
  • 1
    @Parzi what DS is that?
  • 2
    @JoshBent New 3DS XL running Luma 9.1-89cc6ed, 11.8.0-41U.

    I would like to point out that this says 1 in 96964.7 have screen size and depth of 320x240x16, which is a fuckton more than the Platform odds, which is 1 in 261804.7 ("New Nintendo 3DS")

    iOS FireFox Focus
    Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 2,618,089 tested in the past 45 days.

    iOS DDG
    Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 2,618,095 tested in the past 45 days.

    Looks like chrome blends in with its surroundings better.

    it says my browser fingerprint is unique..but in 10 Minutes it wont be my fingerprint anymore..so..yeah for random user agent? Probably doesnt protects against everything
  • 0
    @BurnoutDV random user agent is only one of tons of fingerprint data they collect
  • 1
    @JoshBent the worst thing of a random user agent is that you constantly get pestered with captchas or random logouts..probably not worth the hassle except to deflect the simplist of tracking
  • 1
    @BurnoutDV haven't encountered that once and I am also faking the source-referer, IP, location, ...
  • 1
    @JoshBent sounds like something that goes beyond my toying around with one browser plugin, still i am curious but time starved and lazy to do the research myself, how do you do it?
  • 1
    @BurnoutDV https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/...

    Could tell you my settings too, if you have any problems with it.
  • 2
    @JoshBent i will toy a bit around and see if i break something critical i actually need
