It seems to me that Instagram analyzes your actions but does not steal your passport and personal data. Your photos can get into Google search from other sources. I know that you can hide your account and your personal information will be more protected.

Instagram is an open social network and creating your own profile is a step towards open information. Public information is the foundation of a social institution and non-public information is a negative response from your followers.
