Dear Phone Manufacturers,
I dont like that you always make phones slimmer and slimmer, batteries suffer and the cooling of the SoC isnt really improving either...
Also your phones are getting more breakable than ever!

JUST MAKE PHONES THICKER FOR GODS SAKE! THEN WE CAN HAVE BATTERIES WHICH LAST FOR DAYS AND PHONES THAT ARE INDESTRUCTABLE! thanks. and now Fuck off

So you want them to appeal to the like 1-2% of the market?

I'd much much rather have a thin phone with a decent battery and use a portable charger as necessary than I would have a brick in my pocket. And I'd be willing to bet there's a large number of people who agree with me.

Beleive me having a brick phone is not a pleasant experience. I have the phone which has one of the highest battery capacities in the industry. Asus Zenfone Max. Some of loose pants come 1 inch down when i put my phone in my pocket. Although battery capacity is good, it is unfair for us to ask high battery backup, when we are expecting a computer out of a smart phone. We wouldnt want a 5kg laptop which lasts 2 days in a single charge, would we ?

@aEEEdev (I would want that, actually)

@filthyranter tbh Even i would want that, But mobility is a factor. Eventhough i carry my laptop rarely, i dont want a situation where i am denied entry to an airport because of a heavy laptop.

@Stuxnet Does your phone have a case? If yes and if its a good one you will know that the Phone gets Thick fast, this is lost space!

I have an iPhone XS, I don’t think I’ve gone lower than 50% on a typical day. For demanding days (like travelling) I just carry a power bank. I’m happy carrying a brick when I need one as opposed every single day.

I've always been a brick person. No regrets.
Even if the phone is thin but one goes for the + version the entire thing is bigger and the screen is bigger. Then you have a thin pbone that barely fits in your hand and is prone to fall. I'd prefer thicker devices too.
And we all remember that iphone bending in pocket issue right?
    Fak thin.
