Seriously, PMs. One 1 hour long meeting costs at least 4 hours of productive time (1 hour for travel, 1 hour for the meeting, 1+ hour for preparing for the meeting, 1+ hour for post-meeting discussions). And more often than not all meetings end with "We will come back to you later in regards to <some question not answered during meeting>" and it always means "we'll continue this chat via emails"

Why can't you first ask "do we need a meeting or can we sort this out via email?" ??? Or are you intentionally wasting everyone's time?

Exactly, I feel your u man. Recently I somehow bacame a kind of PM however don’t have one or 2 but about 50 cause they are small projects they say :D

I have come to just decline such shit meetings where I can't prepare because the other side can't even be bothered to elaborate their points/questions. Then it's just "sorry, no meeting".

All managers do is talk. If they're not talking, they feel like they aren't doing their job.

They don't realize that talking and working are mutually exclusive.
