    This also doesn’t take into account whether the word is directed towards the language or just happens to appear in comments in the subreddit (clearly the latter).

    Little question : the words target the language specifically each time ?
    If I go on a sub and tell that X language is shit i'ts counting for the language of the sub or the target one ?

    @blockchaintacos Yeah, I would say that it roughly corresponds to the number of users of those languages and has nothing to do with quality of the languages. Like cmon, PHP can't be worse than JS.

    @blockchaintacos i don't know if the picture should be a joke or not. Maybe someone used a script to get the data and in that case, i guess it only targets the subreddit itself and only if the word is equal letter by letter
