burswag9308yI listen to all sorts of music, depending on my mood. I even listen to some hard rock at work. Maybe it's more distracting, but I don't give a fuuuuuu

iAmNaN71418yA large variety of artists, but at the top, The Glitch Mob, Bassnectar, Deadmau5, and (sigh) Lindsey Stirling.

Anything without vocals, most recently the incredibly epic soundtrack to Mad Max: Fury Road.

Technical/brutal/progressive [death] metal. Nile, Obscura, Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Gojira, Opeth and so on.

Depends on my mood and I'm all over on genre but I do like instrumental movie soundtracks(See Inception.) Today I listened to Wu-Tang, The Postal Service, The Wonder Years, Ghostpoet, Fugazi, Cape Lion, Benjamin Booker, The National to name a few. I tend to try and just listen to full albums.

I also jam to instrumentals. Lyrics can be distracting.
Anyone else ever get wielded out a bit when they zone in for a couple hours, and then when you hit pause realize how quiet it actually is? -
@xinuxunil Never thought I'd meet someone else who listens to The Glitch Mob too! Drink The Sea is such a fantastic album to code too.

Just curious; what kind of music do you guys listen to while coding? I tend to listen to all kinds of instrumental music, which I find great for keeping focus.
Please do share if you're sitting on a great playlist for coding, it's always fun to listen to something new!
