Do you use i3 (dynamic tiling windows manager) on your *nix system?

What are your favourite tips/hacks for optimisation?

i use deepin atm... it does the job

never tried i3, is it any good? normally i'm not a big fan of tiling wms

I think a few things are worth mentioning. i3locks, polybar, scratchpad function, resizing and of course i3 gap functions. Feel free to share me yours.

@arraysstartat1 i3 is mostly CLI anyway. So you don't run a desktop environment at all?

@zerouplink that looks pretty good! I am actually not using Linux at the moment but I used i3 for a bit when I did.

I use i3 daily. It's great. Just customize to your liking.
