@mrgadget he tries tough, there’s that joke tag

@-vim- in my book thats even worse because he knows it isnt a rant.

@Codex404 My guess is that he doesn’t know how.

So hey buddy: when you post a joke, click on the joke/meme tag, and check that there’s no rant tags in the bottom.

@-vim- wait, you get humongous buttons and one does not see it?

@Codex404 imagine you started writing a rant, and then you say nah, so you close it.

3 days later, you find an ok joke on r/programmerhumor so you come to post it and you forget to check if you the setting is set to joke.

@-vim- wut does it keep that setting for you? As soon as I exit the app Ive to redo everything.

@Codex404 if you close it it saves it for me, idk

@mrgadget @EV-EV @Codex404 Maybe he felt like he was ranting ? Who are we to say otherwise ?

@-red the "joke" tag doesn't make sense then

@RememberMe For some people maybe. But I just think we shouldn't run people over if they mis-tag. A little tolerance goes a long way. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂 Peace ✌️

@-red I agree about tolerance. My comment was just a simple statement.

It can be frustrating for people who have purposefully set the filter to avoid this kinda stuff though.

@mrgadget sorry, you're right. It's been a while since I've been on DevRant. It seems like it's changed a bit. I didn't even realize you could filter the types of posts out. When DevRant first started the different rant types, "joke" was the only tag needed. Somewhere along the way it changed to "joke/meme".

    @-red It's just that I filter out them ...
