When your frontend does not really get what your backend is trying to say...

This is oalley.net. Apart from the fact that their frontend and backend do not work together very well, it is a nice tool to mark reachable areas on a map based on the starting point, the means of transportation and the maximum time.

    The message that the API gives back says "password too long"

    They take a response and then rewrite it?

    @C0D4 If you mean what I think you mean: the frontend probably assumes that an error code means the user already exists.

    @TempestasLudi yea.
    The returned response was “password to long” but the displayed response is “you already have an account” so someone’s gone an put a layer in between the two and stuffed up.
