Best of both worlds (Windows and Linux). A lot of applications, fast, and stable.
You can also find a lot of command line Linux software, use package managers like Homebrew, etc.
I have been using it for 5 years, and for me is by far the best desktop OS. -

Dutchess448yNice stable OS, my current dev system on mine uses a Linux VM as a back end because that's what I'm used to buy I use the terminal on OSX (iterm2) to interact with it. I don't like the window management on OSX that much but the full screen split screen is ok. I still prefer Linux for now but I'm giving OSX some time and it's pretty decent for laptop, if only my macbook screen didn't break again.
