When your boss wants to use a WordPress plugin (online reservation system) but ended up customizing (client's requirements) it because of its limitation and wants you to finish it for a week because the client need it ASAP but adding those features will take a month to implement.

Good news, the GPL allows you to use the other guy’s code straight up, as long as you credit them and note your changes.

Bad news is the learning curve figuring out someone else’s code versus just building from scratch...

@Kaji My boss really depends on the plugin. She wants to do it fast to earn more money but she didn't expect that the client wants more features from it. The communication on their end is the issue she didn't clarify what the client's want.

I really had hard time finding some specific files to edit the codes and to figure it out.
