iAmNaN71316yThe Cukoo's Egg by Clifford Stoll. A must for anyone in IT. Our history is important.

odite46896yWe had a talk by Andy Clarke in my Usability class. Major topic was layout design where he absolutely trashed bootstrap sites.

@odite to be fair it's easy to trash any framework, but they do save you time in a cookie cutter type of way.

The Clean Coder by Robert Martin is the greatest dev book of all time.
Some other books I like:
1) Continuous delivery, reliable software releases through build, test, and deployment automation: Humble, Jez
2) The art of unit testing: Roy Osherove
3) High performance MySQL: Zawodny, Balling
4) Just Enough Software Architecture - A Risk-Driven Approach: Fairbanks -
@odite what did he criticize about bootstrap? I am genuinely interested in what's wrong with it and what a better layout would be in his opinion

@frickerg thanks for the recos! I'll check these out.
The clean coder is awesome. Must read for any dev for sure. -
odite46896y@frickerg He criticized the lack of thought put in to the layout design of bootstrap sites. No creativity and just same grid layout over and over again.

I have not read this book but would like to know what it is about. I just had time to read. I'm just a university student and found a research proposal writing service, use https://writix.com/research-proposa... for that. I have just the perfect moment for this. There may not be another chance, because the exams will soon be passed. It would have been all over by now.
