What browsers do you guys use? After allthe controversy with firefox lately, I want to switch to something else.

@Alice use curl to get the html file, convert it to a pdf with ms word 2009 and then view it in a pdf viewer or you should jump off a bridge

I use Brave.

I'm glad that the add-on system is secure. Used nightly for a couple days then the update on mainline hit and everything works again.

This might sound a bit odd as I'm saying Brave Browser. It is a chrome build with added tweaks it is my fav browser now.

@EDWCode the ad blocks works for the most part, the only thing I've noticed it missing is the ads Google sticks in Gmail. Beyond that it's been stable as a rock.

@Frederick I absolutely get what you mean.

And really, the more you dig into anything, the more crap you'll find. Everything is just layers upon layers of crap. Some piles have different building materials and might look better than others; doesn't mean they aren't full of crap, too, if you dig far enough.

Sigh.

Chromium nobody? It is almost like Google Chrome but open source. It surprises me that most people I work with did not even hear of it

@EDWCode they released a large update for it (I think a couple months ago) that substantially improved my experience with it.

Recently started using brave and so far it has been pretty awesome

I still use Firefox cause I'm Firepilled.

I still use Firefox, because what are the alternatives that the people we develop websites/applications for actually use? Basically just Chrome / Safari / Edge (or IE if you're unlucky). Out of all of those, Chrome is the only one that even comes close to being usable for development, but I switched back to Firefox when they released Quantum and haven't looked back
