I was proud of never having been the bad dev, but last year it was my turn to be that guy, I left somebody a half-thassed project, and I still feel bad about it.

Client didn't order enough man-hours to cover all the changes he began to make mid-project and we had to turn in what we had as is.

One of their own devs took over, poor guy.

There is wisdom in OPs statement. Lets embrace it and try to grow as individuals
