    The first loaf of bread I ever made:

    I had to correct that, as I first wrote "my first load.."

    A Texas State Fair sticky bun...
  • 1
    @iAmNaN

    What's the liquid bit ?
  • 3
    @iAmNaN looks like a churro!
  • 2
    @Nanos syrup... sweet, sticky syrup.
  • 4
    @mundo03 this is Texas, so there is a lot of crossover, but that would be one big churro. Similar ingredients, though. A thick, yeasty, soft roll covered in cinnamon and syrup. This is diabetes in a paper boat.
  • 1
    @iAmNaN yum.! Diabets!
  • 2
    @rutee07 I can see your Nepalese in a reflection from the glass
  • 1
    @electrineer Wut? Bitch lasagna hav no nepals in pic.
  • 4
    @electrineer Haha. I actually checked the first three pictures I posted to see if my face was in any of them, even the plates. Thanks, paranoia.
  • 2
    @rutee07 haha I Checked too, no faces. No sexy either.
  • 1
    @rutee07 did you make all those dishes yourself?
  • 1
    @irene No, that was all from my vacation last year. The first two is from Buzz restaurant in Coron, Palawan. The last one is from the villa I stayed in.

    Oh no, I forgot to thank random business owners who don't know me! Muh followers!!!!

    There you go, my breakfast.

    Also qualifies as food [soon to be some sort of dish]: radishes, salads, tils, garlic, spinach, parsley and some basil
  • 2
    @netikras Wow, I'm jealous. Did you grow all of that?

  • 1
    @netikras wtf is that? where are you?
  • 3
    @Alice that looks delicious

    @Abrynos very sexy indeed
  • 1
    @rutee07 mother nature did :) I've just planted some seeds and have been looking after them from time to time

    @mundo03 wtf is what? I'm omw to the office, why?
  • 2
    @netikras Fucking mother nature hates me or maybe I just live to high. I'll get into some indoor gardening or some shit. The wind outside just kills everything.
  • 2
    @rutee07 where do you live again? Mount Everest? 😁
  • 3
    @netikras The Philippines but my condo unit is at the 45th floor. 😬
  • 1
    @rutee07 woooow, that's nice!
    I was going to suggest a greengarden [protects from wind, gathers more heat], but if it's 45th floor you'd have to strap it down real tight in your balcony 😁

    so indoors gardening it is then!

    Or, you know, buy a patch of soil somewhere outside the city :)
  • 2
    @Abrynos can somebody CSI-sharpen those packaging details to find out where that sexy puss lives
  • 1
    @rutee07

    We get 200mph winds here, well, I think higher, because the wind measuring equipment blew away at that figure !

    See, just like living on Mars. :-)
  • 2
    @Nanos Have you tried growing anything? I've tried tomatoes, thymes, lavender, and different kinds of flowers in the past three years. The most successful one is the Zinnia which produced lots of flowers for several weeks before drying out and getting beaten right and left by the wind.
  • 1
    @rutee07

    Grass and lichen grow here..

    Sadly we have such a small garden, there isn't much room to grow anything.

    Building a rockery so the plants have some shelter, that is slow going.

    Want we want is more land, I want to build some of these with wind turbines on top:

    Big enough to grow dwarf fruit trees inside of and dabble in hydroponics for self sufficiency, and selling of surplus produce to provide an income stream.

    Looking towards a concrete frame solution to add weight to the structure and stop it being sucked out of the ground by the winds..

    And provide good strong foundations for a wind turbine on top.

    The window edges will have thin solar panels covering them.

    You can get some really pretty greenhouse designs:
  • 1
    @Nanos I will try out the indoor thing and let you know. It's hard to get a hold of good quality fruits and vegetables these days. I think good food can be pretty helpful to developers since most of us aren't that active at all. Gardening also helps with depression, seeing the plants grow from seeds to flowery little shits is amazing.
