LinkedIn shows that I’m a web developer, using mainly laravel, twig, less, JavaScript, etc.

Recruiters: are you interested in a java function? Possibly .net? We’re also looking for network engineers...

πŸ˜‚I just searched for PHP jobs, I get a lot of JAVA roles show up 🀷‍♂️

Not sure if it's a hint, or sponsored results don't know what I'm looking for.

    A counter point here.

The recruiters I’ve usually worked with usually ask me for roles with tech stacks I have not used before. They know what I’ve done and they ask if I’m interesting but the tech stack is different.

I went from a .NET role to a python and nodejs based gig purely because some people want to recruit for programming skills not tech stack experience. I think it benefits everyone.

The problem here is the cunts who spam people without reading their profiles.

    You *read* LinkedIn recruiter spam?!

The only place I've seen recruiter so be vaguely relevant is on Stackoverflow, and even then it's 50-50 as to whether it'd be vaguely relevant. (I was slightly insulted at the last one that offered me a 20k intern role to "get to grips" with Java.)
