The stat says only that other sites that are more designed for the masses are gaining in relative ranking over devRant, which is hardly surprising.

Actually, it's a good thing because imagine you'd have the 99% of people here who aren't devs.

@Fast-Nop ugh yes! I'd leave so fast if the muggles got on here to rant about tech they know nothing about and blame the devs. The almost "hidden" nature of devrant is what makes it great imo. You see the same people on here every day and that's really nice.

Devrant is pretty well hidden. I only found it from that "commented 2/3rds of the code and broke prod" post. Someone shared it via Discord.

so yes, a decreasing rank simply means the number of users viewing the site is decreasing.
