I just moved to VSCode. I just don't find a theme that fills me up. Maybe i'm looking a reason to procrastinate?

I have the same problem. I went with one dark pro (the atom one) for ages but switched to oceanic reef dark a few weeks ago.

Cobalt2 is my top theme. Just the easiest on the eyes I think

    Me too switched from
sublime text and it really irritates me that I can have a seperate sidebar them like sublime. I can configure the sidebar of course but like to use different themes for different languages so switching is a pain.

One Dark Pro is a good start

All themes look good. But if you want to work for long time without burning your eyes, stick with soothing colors.
The default one is pretty good. My favourite one is the JetBrains darcula. There is an extension in VSCode for that.

I can work hours on darcula without any strain on my eyes

Here are some good themes that I usually switch between.
