What really is the supossed advantage of GNU hurd over Linux? I am not at all into it, I just randomly read about it being in development since the 90s and still not being stable. We have Linux as a functioning and open-source OS alreadey. So really, whats the point?

    Asking the real questions.

I always thought that it was Stallman's small pee pee project to stop people from not adding the GNU part to Linux

@AleCx04 Seems plausible to me. I always had the impression that Stallman, while being a programming genius, has quite a... special personality.

It would be GNU, but it will never be finished. It's not possible to get anything modern to work if you're 15 years behind.

    In layman Terms: Fuck Linux.

Free. GNU. Only Option. Rest must bei replaced.

    Focusing on the tech.
A microkernel architecture can have some advantages concerning stability and security. Unfortunately a pure mc arch is often slower.
