Stupid fcking question, why the hell would I need to explain it to a 6 years old, just ask "can you explain oop in a simple way to a non technical person".

@AurumMan79 My friend was asked this very question and he was overwhelmed thinking the same way as you. He ended up being on the "active waiting list" and didn't get the job despite getting 90%++ score on the technical exam.

@AurumMan79 He told me he can explain it to a non-technical person with atleast a degree or highschool kid. But he was bamboozled when the interviewer explicitly told him that it should be a 6yo.

Interviewer: That's just the kind of sarcastic attitude that we find makes a great developer. You're hired.

@Jaspreet3480 "Not possible at this time. I need some props, also, a small cat, a large cat, a panther, and a lion. Tiger prefered, if lion not avilable. Also, my prepared powerpoint slides, a kubernetes cluster, and a megaphone." "Next question please".

There's a car factory kid, where the car god builds cars. The base car has properties like color, doors, type of engine, etc, and functions like accelerate, stop, etc. You see, this god is lazy, so he clones the base car and makes more cars by adjusting the properties. He does not have to repeat the functions as they are inherited from the base car. This base car is like the blueprint for all cars. I tried right, so I'm hired.

@vlatkozelka Surely at that point you should be writing a new class instead? It may have some characteristics of each of those things but it is a superset of none of them therefore it is different. Either that or your abstraction doesn't fit what you're trying to achieve
