Again I get confirmation that my trust issues are justified.

In the end, 99% of people just watch their own ass even if they could easily make it easier for others who didn’t do anything wrong. All they’d have to do is caring about them.

I guess especially younger generations only care for their parents, wives and kids. Everyone else is just a means to an end.

It reminds me of the reason why I spend most of my time alone at home in front of my computer.

Humans are selfish by definition. Can't fix that

@halfflat It's pretty good, well until the Euro zone crashes and burns but there have always been crashes and recessions. And the US is doing pretty darn good atm

14 years out of school before I started my career had to wait for all the ex-Nortel employees to retire. had some interesting jobs in between but private sector yeah CYA cause there's going to be 10 other green techs behind you for that minimum wage no benefits job. Accounting for inflation wages have been stagnant for decades but the cost of housing has gone up many times the rate of inflation. Then you get the out of touch boomers wondering why your struggling to make ends meet.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, but humans are individuals first, society second... Everyone is an egoist by nature and design and that's a good thing. You can't expect people to selflessly help you for no reason, there's *always* something they get out or it, even when it seems selfless. This however doesn't lead to trust issues, quite the opposite, you can be sure that if you ask the right people the right things, something they can benefit from too, they will do it and probably do it pretty well. Instead of expecting people to act in your interest for no reason learn to listen to them and to get to know them, and that will tell you how you can use them symbiotically ;)

@halfflat I wasn't. Looks reasonable, but that's only known in hindsight. I truly believe one thing, that everyone, no matter how stupid, lives to their best abillities! So even a stupid person or a helpless person acts egoistically, they are just too shortsighted or ignorant, and then we can call them stupid or helpless, but I still think everything they do comes from the desire to benefit themselves in the first place.

@Hazarth I’m not asking them for anything, I expect them to care about their responsibilities.
Their carelessness might cost me a shit load of money and troubles.
