    @FrodoSwaggins yea that's true.

    One person inside of a market with hundreds of million of people is representative of that entire market.

    All Microsoft users are retarded. you heard it here first folks!

    This hurts my IQ points.

    @Stuxnet Well, they do willingly work on a system without a reasonable terminal... doesn't that already qualify as a mental disorder?
  • 3
    @Godisalie well yes, but this is a whole other level of stupid.

    - source: a windows user.
  • 3
    @Godisalie nobody outside of IT people use terminals. Everyone I know with a Mac doesn't even use the one they have.

    There's also the WSL and the new terminal that's being built that's on GitHub (I think lol, I already forgot where it was at lmao).

    do your research

    @FrodoSwaggins I literally didn't say shit about the terminals effectiveness and usefulness. If you'd take ya head out your ass you might be able to see that. Shit dude I'm trying to incorporate nix into my daily life more and more bc the flow of using a terminal is nice asf.

    But that doesn't change the fact that literally none of the average users for window or Mac do not use the terminal/Powershell. Because it's true as fuck.

    As for the first comment, I didn't say that. I said they're not this stupid and last time I checked "not this stupid" != "are stupid" but go off man.

    I have come to the conclusion that not only do Windows, Mac, and Linux machines not communicate well, but the user of those machines do not communicate well.

    Final conclusion: computer users are stupid, for the most part. But I just switched from IE to Edge. Because Edge is not made my MS.

    @Demolishun smart move dude.

    Google and M$ sell your data to the Russians!!!! They know everything about you man!

    @Godisalie PowerShell is indeed reasonable, you just don't like it. And that's fine, they're just different things.

    @VaderNT I use powershell at work daily and I like it, well atleast don't have issues with it.

    @VaderNT It doesn't have tabs, no native editor and no history beyond the current session. It also doesn't allow to elevate user privileges within a session. I'm not saying that it can't be used, just that it's not a reasonable choice for a terminal.

    @Godisalie
    > It doesn't have tabs
    I thought we're talking about the shell. In comparison, Bash and Fish don't have tabs, you'd accompany them with a terminal emulator of your choice.

    > no native editor
    Like above... I mean it's just supposed to run programs. Install an editor of your choice, like you would do with any other shell.

    Kinda confused by these two above points.

    > and no history beyond the current session
    That was fixed with PowerShell 5. ☺

    > It also doesn't allow to elevate user privileges within a session.
    Okay, that's inconvenient. A quick Google search got me "runas" and "elevate", but in contrast to sudo they don't run the command as the current user.
