I prefer nginx, because it is more advanced and more powerful.

nginx, i know lack of .htaccess, but im kind of glad with that. These days both have more or less same capabilities, i just prefer the json like config style vs a gazillion year old xml config style in apache

@DarkMukke yeah. The lack of a htaccess file was a bit hard when migrating. But while migrating, I realized, that I don't even have many htaccess files. But that is an other topic

Nginx without hesitation, on average it's 8x faster, more powerful and generally nicer to use.

Also, I am not lazy so easy options don't entice me...

And I like both, and use both :p

Used to be a Apache guy but I recently switched to nginx and I only use Apache if I need a quick live and most of the time I use nginx together with my buddy ajenti

Lightweight, flexible, does only one thing and does it very well. Nginx!

I use Apache because it's old and tested, there's lots of documentation, and it's stable. And I'm just running some personal scripts, don't need super speed of nginx.
