I like how devs keep on shitposting Windows rants, but never switch to Linux.

Windows will never get better, you have to give it up :)

Or even worse... The rant about Windows and then switch to mac...

Unfortunately, sometimes we have no choice.

Company standards.
We get windows 7, not a choice.
But virtual machines are ok :)

All of them have their own pros and cons..

Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. Just going duel boot you and really hurt you.

@forkbomber you should demand it. I've asked it plenty of times on interviews, "can I use Linux?" When or if the say no I say "alright, don't think this will work out".

Happy to say that I work at a place now were it's fully alright to use Linux :)

@topfs I didn't have that luxury.
I was lucky enough to find a job.
Now a few years later it's slightly different, I might be able to ask for a Linux system.
Right now I'm glad to have the servers run Linux, most of my work is not local anyway.
