    Yes of course. Windows update is a virus.

    Ah well, I remember being my father's tech support back in university, having to go back to my parent's place untold times, one hour on public transport, and then one hour back…

    Then I moved halfway around the globe, which gave me the perfect excuse to tell him to read up on stuff on the internet, and learn to fix it himself.

    My Dad was the same. I delegated Computer problems to my siblings and moved to another continent.
