you know you won't be amusing yourself for long, if your chosen entertainment is breaking linux installs.

my latest experience with 4 different distros was that they were broken by default.

it probably wasn't clear from my comment, since you mentioned package managers in the response, but by "broken by default" i meant that the last 4 distros i ever tried to install, the setup of the OS itself was unable to boot. so that's what the point of my joke about breaking linux being a very short amusement was.
