They are not for the elderly, they are for people with chronic retina dryness disease. The water and blood flow to the retina stops and they go color blind first and then start losing their eye sight little by little until they go completely blind. It's a horrible disease with no cure. One of my best friends is suffering from it. This keyboard also comes with a software that super zooms the windows screen and allows for color modifications to help them see. As the disease progresses they have to increase the zoom on that app. It zooms from 1x to 32x and if I remember correctly the app name was ZoomText

@Marnsghol thank you mate, and what sucks more is he is an amazing C developer and he can't work anymore. I read him rants from the community here all the time and we sit around laughing out loud together thanks to this community.

dfox428278yShould have clarified - not the part about that terrible diseases, but the part about him finding enjoying devRant. I didn't know this problem existed, I learned something new here.

@dfox Thank you for the clarification and of course for all the effort you have put into making this a reality! I also feel like clarifying that sadly it is very real but at the same time a very rare disease of the eye which is hereditary. So it has no correlation with the amount of hours you tend to stare at the monitor. The fact that he was a developer was just mere coincidence. This disease is more connected to genetic predispositions rather than career path. However with that being said, apparently the people suffering from it are not capable of staring at monitors for long periods of time.
P.S. We have a date to listen to the Podcast Episode #0 next! can't wait as I am sure it is going to be a lot of fun! -
I'm not looked no at the keyboard, I'm thinking the arrangement of all the other items has a story too... ?
What an abomination of a keyboard
