I love laravel. But I hate blade as it's templating engine. Why didn't they choose pug. Its so much more readable. I know I can have it by packages. But I would rather see it as the default.

    doesn't pug have syntactic whitespace? I agree on the readable part though, but I heavily dislike the idea of working witj syntactic whitespace

    @Wombat I dislike being forced to adhere to stuff like that for the sake of correctness. The software I deal with is very large. I do not wish to have to worry about something such as messing up a tab or a space.

    Any time a language, regardless of which language it is, forces me to adhere to a style convention it just makes me dislike it.

    Even then, it's dislike, not necessarily hate the concept, just a very heavy dislike.

    @Wombat yeah mam I get you, pug is really awesome though don't get me wrong, it's more of a nitpick of mine
