Really fucking sick of people taking my coffee mugs on the drying rack and taking them back to their desk. It's not yours. It doesn't have our company logo or your company logo. It's obviously not yours so don't fucking touch it.

This is the second coffee mug of mine to go missing in 16 months. You work at a tech company buy your own fucking mug or open your mouth wide and catch your hot bean water you fuck.

    @electrineer I always wash my cup and leave it on the drying rack. People just need to not touch stuff that is not theirs.

    Wasn't there a Dilbert that talked about this? But it was lunches instead of coffee cups. I cannot find that strip. Maybe it is a legend.

    Also - get your HR to buy some mugs for general use.
    Tell them it is more enviromentally reponsible.

    When you wash it, wait in the canteen /kitchen area until it is dry, should only take an hour or so.

    Have to say though, 2 mugs in 16 months is hardly a regular occurrence

    I agree with @electrineer . When you leave for the day, leave it dirty on your desk. In the morning go to the kitchen, wash your mug and pour some coffee into you freshly washed mug.

    Works for me every time. I used to lose my mug as well so I came up with this kindergarten-level solution.

    @netikras I just wash it out with cognac in the morning, that way I don't have to socialize in the kitchen, it's sterile, and reviewing PRs is a lot more fun.
