Things I learnt by attending meetings from home:

* Wear pants even if no one can see them
* After meeting is done, turn off your computer to ensure it has ended.
* Mute and screen share is not reliable
* Tell your family members that you will have a meeting so they do not do anything weird.

Also don't think the automatic microphone switching works in discord. The teacher was shouting and discord kept him cut off mid sentence.

for the mute, some headsets allow you to turn of the microphone. it's a blessing to have 👌
