I'm taking a vacation in two weeks to hopefully recover from this burnout. I don't know if I can make it that long.

I've been trying to work on a ticket for the past two days. I don't even know what the ticket says. Just something about optimizing the Google pay object api. idk. I just can't. I need to have it done today though. Bleh.

These times properly suck. You'll kick-ass and get there eventually! We're rooting for ya! (pun not intended)

The easiest way to optimize is to break it then go off grid for a while.

You could make a minor change and mark it as resolved. If the owner does not care to describe the problem the owner does not care about it being solved.

I am counting down to eid coz I am taking off and telling no-one. Hopefully lockdown restrictions would have eased up like I am not even applying for leave, just fucking disappearing and watch from afar while the whole tech team crashes.

I actually had some fun with the ticket. Not a clue how or why, but I felt like myself for awhile last night and wrote a nice deep-compare method with copious amounts of speedy cheating. I mean, "shortcuts"

@hjk101 The ticket isn't the problem. The burnout has been bad enough that even reading the ticket took herculean effort. Hence not knowing if I can make it through two more weeks before vacation.

@Root ah than enjoy your holiday and leave the root cause analysis to another day. Hope you feel better soon!
