I wanna learn rust, go, Ruby, lolcode, brainfuck, the meaning of life, etc... And then every time I start a new side project I always do that in C xD I guess it's because you can not easily forget your first love :D

Same here every time I'm trying to start a new project with a language I'm currently learning. Haxe be like "Hey, why not using me, I know you love me? :3"

I started with C++ now I rarely use it.. I guess you can say I got over her ? Python is the silent less needy more handy language for me.

I always fall back on nodejs. Taking some courses on go now, seems v. interesting, but I've gotten so used to nodejs superfast prototyping, I always fall back to it :3

You'd feel right at home with Go then. It's very c-like and yet not at all at the same time

@ElectricCoffee I only played a bit with it, never went to deep. But I'm planning to learn it very well!
Oh, and there's also Rust which is attracting my attention... It seems very good for system programming :)

@polslinux rust shares many things with scala
Rust is to Scala what C++ is to Java. One is low level and uses manual memory management, the other is high level and uses garbage collection. Feature wise they're pretty similar
