I've used ublock origin for a while and love it - always my first add-on. It's best on Firefox; I think it's less effective on Chromium based browsers, but still better than ABP.

@chrome i saw a 2000$ macbook using safari on youtube. Typing in the search bar lagged as fuck. Idk the macbook model but seems pretty recent like 1 year old.
