If you have a iPhone 7 and the new macbook, the only way to sync between your two beloved device is to buy an adapter which costs $25 in the apple store.

Apple has truly lost their vision

Let's also think about the fact that you can't connect a Thunderbolt to a Lightning.

It will likely charge much faster though...

I thought their vision was ripping people off and getting as much money as possible. Because if it was, id say they are right on track.

But it's using an open standard. I'm so sick of this "you need an adapter". They're not reinventing the wheel. They're going from USB a to USB c like everyone has asked all manufacturers to do.

Why the hell do people keep saying adapter this adapter that (not Apple fan but laptop and phone have usb-c) there are freaking usb-c to lightning cables, even usb-c to micro USB. I get it you need to use adapters for some devices like mice but soon there will be usb-c mice to I think
