Besides this being the x-th repost: I don't get this 'meme' ... I'm mostly programming Java and ever since I used an IDE like Eclipse. I got into many annoying bugs etc, but a missing semicolon was none of them, because even the shittiest compiler could point it out directly.

I agree, said the same thing at a few other of these posts. @KnutKnutsen
