Customer: We need an app to replace the Excel ( bunch of forms with messy macros and script)

A wise person once said something like "All business apps compete with Excel".

I fear you have taken on a task of Herculean proportions...

I believe excel is most used data storage and data preparation tool on planet.
Also can be used as http server, algorithmic trading, invoice generator, chemistry calculator, machine learning tool etc.
All other tools were created only because those people didn’t know what excel is capable of.

Agree. You can do a lot of things on excel and people who can't use them talks about digitalisation and innovation
