Interviewer asked me how to find the best move in Tic Tac Toe game.

We discussed several ideas and ended up playing Tic Tac Toe for nearly 10 minutes.

It turns out HR was keeping an eye and they had to interrupt.

Nice move.

Gotta think that's a good sign for the interview.

Against a player who actually knows the game, the result is always a draw.
There is not point in playing a competitive game wich has a predetermined outcome.

Tic Tac Toe is the caesar chiffre in the group of strategy games: It qualifies as a member of the group (deterministic competetitive strategy games / symmetric chiffres), but has no actual use apart from being an introduction to the group.
