Does anyone have any idea why my 3rd monitor doesn't display anything sometimes when I boot into Windows? If I unplug and replug then I lose all output to all monitors . Doesn't happen in Linux. I assume it is drivers but I've reinstalled and updated and nothing works. Any ideas? :)

    Gfx card firmware maybe? See if there's an update for that?

    Happened to me regularly until my gfx driver (intel integrated whatever) fucked my partition completely (see one of my previous rants...).
    I reinstalled Windows with a clean (non-HP) DVD, installed drivers manually with nothing more than needed, and it's all good since then.

    Ahh I'll check the firm ware thing out but I'm way to lazy to reinstall Windows. Don't use it for much other than gaming and don't really need that many screens for that.
