I just got an email that a client changed their DNS zone files to point at a new server. Turns out that they haven't set the server up yet. Client is wondering why that domain's emails aren't working, and why their site is down. They didn't want to give me the Domain's portal login credentials until now, because they "could do it without [me]." Tomorrow morning should be fun.

    @wgroenewold Definitely. I'm not one to burn bridges! A lot of explaining needs to happen. We'll both come out of this alright and probably get lunch together after it's fixed! ☺

    We'll be doing DNS migration soon, I've got the new zone setup but we're still stuck in all the bother of the domain being in the personal name of one of the founders. He's cooperating, but he now lives in Spain and doesn't work for us anymore.

    Oh and you can flush the public dns of Google. That helps a bit.
