I honestly don't understand people. They are unable to understand easy to use apps when you provide clearly labeled labels yet they use apps like Snapchat which apart from being the worst designed app I have ever seen (it brings SD820 to knees) is unintuitive as hell with no difficulty. How is this even possible.

Also on a side note, go fuck yourself Snapchat. And if any of Snapchat devs are reading this: " go fucking kill yourself. You don't deserve to live after creating such a piece of shit. Even a fresh out of college intern does better job than you. You think this is good? I have never seen anything worse than it. Even fucking in-house government apps are miles better and more intuitive than you. All your ripoffs from Instagram stories to facebooks new clone and others are better than you. Whoever thinks this POS is good enough deserves to be burnt."

Now that's a rant. Thank you. You give meaning to this community's name.

I don't really like social media much (especially Facebook) but I like reddit and posting non Dev related stuff on Instagram and liked stories. Some of my friends always kept saying "Snapchat is much better" and I tried it this month. Even if you just forget about the shit app that keeps on crashing, there is no real discover feature. If you don't know someone from other platform or allow it access to your contacts or unless someone else recommends you an account you can't find good stuff from artists. The "detection" part of its filters is nice but other than that I don't get why people like this over Instagram stories or other services.

But that's ok. Not every service is for everyone. What infuriated me is that people who can't understand simple statements like " click on the button that says 'send' to send the report" have no issue with this app. How is this even possible?

I hate Snapchat as much as the best guy, and yeah it doesn't follow known design trends, but it's fucking easy to use. Press button to take picture, hold button to take video, hold face to use filters. Everything else is just tap to view. I have never had any stability issues, but i was on the S4 and then now the Nexus 6p. As far as discovery, the ap isn't meant to be you're only social media, is more of a supplement. There isn't any voting to do, no actual social interaction. You just take pictures and view pictures, really

Now that's a rant. I quit Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr a while back. I couldn't understand how people have so much time to follow and like and post pictures of themselves all the time. All the social media I participate in has to do with programming and technology.

@iakar I hate people who just post their own photos and selfie on Instagram. I mostly follow people who do design, art, landscape, etc.
