Worst enterprise software forced to use:
Lync/Skype for Business

I've used a lot of crappy systems. But being forced to use this is painful. On Linux I make it somewhat bearable by using Pidgin but that has its limitations (no file sharing, etc.)....but after attempting to use the "new" Skype for Business it doesn't do that simple task either...so Lync 2011 ***2011*** for me. It's 2016, they know that right?

Grrrrr, actually, no I didn't miss these conversations. In fact, I think the window was the active window while receiving the messages originally....
Nice subject, BTW! Good job, Microsoft.

Just sent this email to my team:

"Important! Please Read!

Both Lync and Skype for Business are complete crap for me lately. They are completely unreliable communication methods. Most of the time I'm sitting right in front of the client but instead get an email, minutes or hours later, about a missed conversation.

If you need to get a hold of me, don't trust Lync/S4B! Please email me, text me (my phone number), or preferably...hit me up on (a Slack link) if you need me.
