    And how are more than 4 desktops usefull? Aspecially when you can switch between virtual ones?

    For day to day use its an overkill i admit. But when ur stuck with two ide's, vm for testing, stack overflow and np++ even that can come up short ;)

    I like the dedicated screen for CPU monitoring.

    Unless you're monitoring the stock market I don't see why all this clutter is good. 2 monitors is all you need - one for code one for refreshing changes and running code. That way you are much more focused. And don't need to find apps to fill the screens with to appear cool.

    @DLMousey he's the one who wanted to show his "di..." and win the "pissing contest". In my opinion he lost.

    @DLMousey some have to make their di... Work with some help of extra equipment I guess...

    @DLMousey lol

    I'd trade stocks with the top three and development on the bottom ones

    @developer82 not really 3 is the magic number cause of documentation, ide, and live reload. Even then i can see somecases like react native where 4-5 screens could be useful add an extra for some kind of communication (slack,email,irc,etc) i can see where a developer could make use of 6 screens

    Week 29 rant should be:
    What is the size of youe e-penis? Attach image as proof. 😀

    I'm also a fan of the 3 monitor setup.
    Music player -IDE - live reload

    @jckimble how about a monitor for code and a monitor for refresh, and all that other stuff that you don't really need in the foreground and don't update that frequently be a "alt+tab" click away - you can always tell when it updates - notifications!

    @developer82 well for me its just pushing Alt+0-9 but context switches can make you lose place

    @jckimble too many monitors distract you. Keep focus on the task at hand.

    @developer82 lmao calm down, he can use as many screens as he likes. If you think too many screens is distracting, that's fine for you. Other people may not have the same viewpoint.
