Now there was this meeting where our boss called our team to reach at exactly 8:00 . One minute more and you will be fired.
Turns out he himself reached at 8:15 for the meet. And we were just staring him, wanting to say, "Hey boss, you don't need to come anymore. YOU ARE FIRED."

    Attended a philosophy course (or merely the exam) where the prof had given the students really stupid questions and tasks, but told them: "Who leaves is an asshole (or equivalent)." - Then he left.

    I had the same experience, I had to leave from an event that he agreed I should go to, when I arrived nobody was there, others arrived 1h later while the boss arrived 3h late...

    I had few words with him I remember I used the f word a lot.. that was few years ago.

    Your team should have stood up altogether and applauded his arrival. It would have signified that no one was being fired that day :D

    Anyway he is moving to Germany next month. So he has been going easy on us since some time.
    Will show him this rant probably on his last day. ;)
