so today I realized that one of the websites I have, worked with domain.com but didn't with www.domain.com
I thought I screwed up some cnames but I checked and I didn't.
you could access it with domain.com but www.domain.com would give a 404.
turns out I had registered the webapp on Azure as domain.com and not as www.domain.com
learnt something new today.
