Recently I see people installing Linux distros to their Macbooks. Is MacOS that bad? I mean I use Ubuntu in my daily life but let's accept that most of the Linux distros (for desktop of course) has hickups. I haven't used MacOS but there is a big company maintaining and optimizing it for just few machines. What is the point installing a Linux distro to a Mac?

    That's nothing. I've seen people who wiped macOS from their machine and installed Windows Vista instead.

    @orkhanfarmanli Yup. Lecturers at my University could pick which notebook they wanted. Most of them asked for Macs. Was cool until they wiped it and installed Windows. 😂

    Never felt that Ubuntu/Mint had more hiccups than a Mac :/ they definitely have weaknesses (Bluetooth on Mint, wtf), but so do OSX. And Windows IS a hiccup :)
