It’s rather infinite loop of excuses, including this one.

Interesting hypothesis but is there also something to back it up?

@electrineer I agree with you. And not just argumentative essay-esque evidence but is there science to this?I personally don't agree with attributing skills to "natural talent" but it'll be interesting to see some science

Sounds like an elaborate way of saying "I give up easily or too often".

Luckily I was already such a lazy fuck as a kid that even though I have a probably above average intellect nobody ever called me "gifted".

Fancy words with no scientific backing. Written to sound plausible, but is complete nonsense.

Wasn't a problem when I was going (our school bus was a brontosaurus); there were so few of us we could shun people out of AP who didn't need to be there.

@SortOfTested Oh yeah. I get so hacked off by these things it seems I don't even finish reading them... 🤦

@SortOfTested "shun"? I didn't know you were amish.

@eo2875 @electrineer It is rather hard to provide evidence to this particular claim.
And even if you find enough people with that behavior and the history to match, you'll still have to rule out the possibility that it's a mere correlation.

    Nope.
I never gave up, even when I was terrible at something.
